An introduction to the dendroTools package

This online tutorial introduces the dendroTools R package, focusing on functions related to dendroclimatological analyses using climate data with daily resolution. In comparison to analyses based on monthly data, daily data provide more flexible analysis of climate-growth relationships, such as climate reconstructions of periods not bounded by months and changes in climate signal patterns over time. The tutorial begins with a brief introduction to the topic, daily data sources and the description of the core algorithm used for daily analyses. The second part is practically oriented, where you can follow the exercises by using the code provided in the attached word-file (since R and txt files are not allowed at wordpress). A video recording of the workshop given at TRACE 2021 is available under this link with the corresponding workshop material provided here.

Consider enabling HD mode when watching the video to make code readable.
